Precision (dba Qurna) is a supplier of natural body care products made on the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts of Turkey. The company has positioned itself in a selective market, specializing in all-natural body wash products. Precision is a strong supporter of the local farmers in the region.

Qurna was founded by two entrepreneurs living on the Aegean Coast of Turkey, who, with an appreciation for natural products and environmental conservation, as well as an enthusiasm for Ottoman decorative arts, launched Qurna All Natural Olive Oil soaps.

The husband and wife duo understood the value of olive oil as not just part of a healthy diet but also as part of a healthy skin care program. For centuries, inhabitants of this region have used olive oil as a soap cleanser, particularly in the Ottoman civilization's public baths, or "hamam".

Although olive oil soap has always been a staple in the Turkish culture, until now, a good range of natural personal care products was not on the market. More common olive oil soaps used in the home contain inferior quality olive oils that are good for the skin, but heavy in smell. The greatest challenge for the founders during product development was to design a soap that contained the same skin enhancing qualities that have been cherished for years, while mixing fresh, resourceful essences, creating a light, aromatic scent.

With the help of a local chemist, using extra virgin olive oil, locally-grown plants and fresh essences such as lavender, clove, almond, oregano, rosemary, laurel and olive leaves, the all natural olive oil soaps were born, triple milled to last long.

The founders wanted their products to represent the ancient Ottoman culture they hold dear. They decided on 'Qurna', originating from the word "Kurna", which is the name of the marble basin used in hamams. Today, Qurna soaps are delivering not only the benefits of all-natural gentle cleansing and moisturizing, but also a bit of the exotic to the west.
